One More Extra Feature: Prayers for Joshua

Joshua

In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we have one more extra feature: Joshua Webb!  Joshua is an 11-year-old boy who is actively involved in the boy scouts and enjoys doing all the things that most 11-year-old boys enjoy.

Earlier this year, doctors found a tumor the size of an orange growing between Joshua’s ribs and lungs and diagnosed him with Ewing Sarcoma, a type of bone cancer.   He began chemotherapy and radiation in April and continues to fight the cancer head on.  Next week, on October 6, Joshua will be having surgery to remove the tumor and two floating ribs on the left side of his body.

Please take the time to pray for Joshua and his family as they prepare for the surgery and as they deal with the recovery process.  You can learn more about Joshua and his progress by liking his Facebook Page and by visiting his CaringBridge Page.  Joshua is also one of our Operation Smile children so you can send him a card to encourage him during this time!

Help us keep spreading the word about Joshua and all of our feature kids!

**If you know a child or charity that would like to be featured, please let us know at mikeyandzoe@comcast.net or on our Facebook page**
